Whenever I'm down in Houston, I make sure to visit Las Tortas Perronas for their super cubana -- torta packed high with meat and cheese, it's the perfect sandwich for the carnivore inside. Granted, prices have gone up and portion has gone down a bit (like most places since covid inflation), but the sandwich is still generously portioned (before it was monster size!)! Food is fresh and made to order and the bread is nice and crusty! What's more to say??
The tortas here are really good. You should definitely give it a try. The size is big. It is great value for the money. No sides though. They do sell chips.

Good, friendly people. They only do tortas and they do them well. I will definitely be back to try out the other tortas on the menu. I like the option to build your own as well. Next time I will definitely try one of the aguas.
